GreenMobility’s CEO: Here is my perfect day with a “Green” in the city
Our CEO Thomas loves Copenhagen and he has some favorite places that he returns to again and again and which he would like to share with you. See what he says about his perfect day with a “Green” here:
A perfect start to the day
After the first coffee, I grab a “Green” on the street and drive to Nordhavn to swim in the harbor. I love coming there and experiencing the new city part that merges city and sea. A jump in the water – especially in winter – and then sauna is a perfect start to the day.
Afterwards, I urge for something sweet, so I go to Juno’s bakery on Aarhusgade on Østerbro. Their cardamom buns are absolutely magical. Never have I ever tasted anything so delicious and harmonious.

From Østerbro the trip goes north to Strandmøllekroen. Here, it is really nice to fish for sea trout from the coast, and it is a nice place to relax. After a few hours of rest in my head, I feel like heading towards the city. At the Pizza House in Gothersgade, I order a sandwich with pesto, mozzarella and chicken. On top, I put some extra salt and take it with me to Copenhagen Cable Park. This is probably the closest we get to the surfing environment around Copenhagen.
Here’s super chill, and on a great summer day, it feels a bit like being at a beach in an exotic country. After finishing the sandwich, I spend an hour on the wakeboard. It’s amazingly cool – and you totally get knocked out after just an hour there.
A trip to my old hood
After wakeboard, the trip goes to Vesterbro, which is my old hood, where I lived on Oehlenschlægersgade in the mid-twenties. I park at Enghave Plads – put the car to charge and stroll up Istedgade. I have lived in all the quarters of Copenhagen, and Vesterbro was obviously my favorite place. There is a lot of small shops and cafes with a cozy atmosphere.
"“After a stroll up Vesterbro, I take a new “Green” by the Lakes and drive to Copenhagen Street Food on reffen”.
After a stroll up Vesterbro, I take a new “Green” by the Lakes and drive to Copenhagen Street Food on reffen. Here, I leave the car as I intend to have a draft beer for my burger. Copenhagen Street Food has a great atmosphere – and the place shows that Copenhagen is becoming an international city with attraction from all over the world. You often hear people at the tables speak a foreign language.
The evening ends with a walk down Gothersgade to Israel Plads, where I finish off with a No. 10 wheat beer at Bootleggers. There is a cozy and a homelike atmosphere in the dark room. The trip home to Lyngby is by train, since I have been drinking a few beers.
It’s my perfect day with a “Green” – what’s yours?
